My beautiful mum: A smile that could light up a room. A heart of gold. Kind and caring, funny and
romantic. My Mum was the kind of person that all my friends could "talk to" about stuff that was
bothering them, she helped a lot of people by just listening to them. I guess just letting them
"let off steam" and helping them to see things from a different point of view.
My Mum would often leave little messages in unusual places - like one I found under the telephone
saying "Smile! It makes people wonder what you're up to!" LOL, that was one of many!
At Christmas she would always buy us the best presents she could afford, and there would always be
"a little surprise or two" wrapped up under the tree for each of us.
Elsie was one of a kind, both a mother and a friend...the best friend anyone could wish to have.

Hello Elise, isn't this a great way to say hello? I just wanted to let you know what fantastic daughters you have down here. Not only have they made a lovely garden for yourself, David and now sadly Eric, but Lucy has sent so much time on Olive's. Take a peek, you will remember most of the photo's from old Salford.
You have 2 daughters to be very proud of Elsie, they are both very, very kind, caring, loving and make great friends. It's a good job you and Olive put me and Lucy in the same class, or I would have missed out on a life long, thoughtful friend.
And as for your son-in-law, well, you would have loved Clayton. He runs round after those 2 girls of yours like a good un. And I am sure if you were still with us, he would be caring for you also. Your daughter is very much loved and cared for by her husband, so you dont have to worry about that. Jan is getting back on her feet (after you know what!!Happened to me at the same time, can you believe that Elsie, BOTH OF US, how strange was that??) Anyway, she is doing very well, and as you know living a few feet from Lucy, so they have that support of each other. And this time, no one will break them up, they are back together for good, or till they get to you anyway.
You can be very proud of both of your little girls Elsie, you did a great job. Thank you for giving me two great friends I can call on ANYTIME.

My family, tell a lot of lies, they never did before,

They cannot tell you how they feel - oh, how I wish They could.
Ask my family how they are: "I'm ok, I'm fine, I'm Coping.”
For God's sake, just tell the truth and say your Heart is broken.
Ask my family how they are and they’ll reply "I'm Well, and you?”
I'll shake my head in Heaven, ‘cause it simply isn't True.
They'll love me all their life's, just like I loved Them all of mine,
The'll lie and try to hide the pain, pretending that They are fine.
Their carnival is over, they have stepped off the Carousel,
But to save you feeling bad they'll say, "Yes thank You, all is well".
My family haven't gone mad quite yet, but oh, so very Near,
Don't ask them how their doing, ask them how they are Doing ...REALLY.
I’m watching them from Heaven, and I cann't hug them From here,
So if they lie to you, don't listen to them, but Please hug them and hold them close.
On the day we'll meet for ever we shall smile and I'll be bold:
